Venerable Ru Chang / Director of Buddha Memorial Center
Since its opening, the Buddha Memorial Center has become a top cultural landscape in Taiwan visited by people from all over the world. Under the invitation of Bureau of Cultural Heritage from the Ministry of Culture, BMC Director Venerable Ru Chang will give a speech in commemoration of International Museum Day (May 18) on the important connection between cultural landscapes and religious heritage.

Second Biannual Cross-Strait Museums Meeting
The Meeting took place at the Buddha Memorial Center for the first time in Taiwan. The first biannual meeting was held in Hubei, China, in 2014. The two-day meeting included 20 research papers and 5 keynote speeches, as well as the scholars, and directors, and members from 19 provincial museums.
